Naked Monkeys have been performing on the North Coast and surrounding areas for over 10 years. Performing locally at events, festivals, the Lake Erie Islands, parties, weddings and other venues is what they love to do. Together, these 4 musicians have over 30 years of professional entertaining experience. The line-up has changed somewhat over the years with the exception of founding members; guitarist, Rick DeWitt and bassist, Ken Glaser. The edition of drummer, Greg Neal and most recently lead vocalist, Steve Perry has enabled Naked Monkeys to stay focused on their ultimate goal of providing the best show for those in the audience. Recently, Naked Monkeys entered the recording studio to take on a new venture and record an original project. The result is a mixed genre of rock, classic rock, modern and island music that is ageless. The album titled "When our ship comes in", includes 14 tracks and is available now for purchase. "This was an amazing experience, notes lead vocalist Steve Perry. The writing process was so easy for the band. These guys already had some awesome songs, and it was great to be able to contribute 3 songs of my own. The first day I auditioned, I felt like we had known each other for years. This was just meant to be." Naked Monkeys support EVERY American soldier fighting for our country and our freedoms we so dearly treasure. Naked Monkeys also support all firefighters and police who put their lives on the line every day.
